The world has so many ways of describing the situations we are going through as facts of life that no matter how much we try to let our situation change, we cannot because of being locked up in a jail of facts.
Facts limit us ,facts make us never see any good in life, facts never give us an opportunity to see the better version of ourselves, facts kill us from the inside, facts break our hearts,facts makes us lose hope, facts takes away our inner peace, facts deny us love and leaves us only with loneliness, facts make us wanna live a reckless life because we no longer see the need of giving loyalty when you never get it back, facts make us not see any good in others, facts gives us an impression that our situation is permanent and nothing will ever make it change! Yes that is what FACTS does to us! Facts are so intimidating and demoralizing to the soul . They are the lies used by the devil to keep us in captivity
The only thing that can suppress or super impose facts is the truth. Facts are actual occurrence that we face everyday but the truth is what must come to pass in our lives! God uses the truth as a technology to release us from captivity
2 Timothy 2:25-26
25 Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to the knowledge of truth, 26 and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do His will.
The only way to counter deception and facts is knowing the Truth, this is by staying in the place of truth which is the word of God that has power to break every York that was built on facts .The word of God has power to sober us up and transform us by the renewal of minds .The word of God has power because of the one who spoke it "I AM WHO I AM"
It is a fact that you are broke at the moment and you don't even know what your next meal looks like but the truth is that He can supply for all your needs according to His riches in Glory . You should train your mind to listen to the truth about your life and not the fact!
Deuteronomy 28 : 1 gives us the truth of prosperity, what we should do to be prosperous and great in the land of the living. We need to fully obey the Lord and carefully follow His commands that He has given to us. That is the only way to true prosperity.
Its a fact that you are sick and going through a lot of pain, but its the truth that
He was wounded for our transgressions,
He was bruised for our iniquities;
The chastisement for our peace was upon Him,
And by His stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:5
Its a fact that you are heartbroken and down casted but its the truth that The Lord is close to the broken hearted and saves those who are crushed in the spirit ,psalm 34: 18
Its a fact that you are single and you even don't know if you will ever get married or marry but the truth is that not one will lack a mate Isaiah 34 :16
Its a fact that you don't see any good in your children ,they are rude, drug addicts, perform poorly in class and they keep on disappointing you but the truth is that He will turn the heart of the parents to their children , and the heart of the children to their parents. Malachi 4 :6
Its a fact that you haven't put a guard on your heart and people keep on hurting you and go but its the truth that the peace of God, which transcends all understanding ,will guide your hearts ,and you minds in Jesus Christ . Philippians 4:7 just put a guard on your heart.
Its a fact that you have so many attacks from friends , from your enemies ,from those who don't wish you well but its the truth that no weapon fashioned against you shall prosper , and every tongue that speaks against you in judgment shall be condemned Isaiah 54 :17
Its a fact there is no peace in your marriage , its all about pain and sufferings but its the truth that He gives peace in every situation " peace I leave with you,my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid John 14 :27
The problem is that we have accepted the deception of the devil and his facts instead of believing in God's truth
Sometimes you don't need what is good to you, you need the truth of God. That relationship, that job, those friends and even that decision you wanna make might be good to you but not the best as per the truth of God, come out of them and seek to be at a place of truth. No one can condemn you if you know the truth
Discovery of truth leads to recovery of freedom, truth opens doors for us to come out from the snares of the devil.
